SHOP FAQ:

Can I trust the security of your website?
As of April, 2020, my shop is powered by Shopify and all payments are run through their secure system, through PayPal Express Checkout, or through Afterpay. Any information stored otherwise on this website (account information, addresses, etc) or on Shopify are protected with an SSL certificate and your information will never be used other than to fulfill orders or anything else you may sign up for, such as newsletters.

How do I know the quality of the prints?
I do my best to describe the papers and ink that I use in producing my prints. I am also very particular regarding the quality and I will never knowingly send out a subpar print. As I never pester for reviews, there isn’t much to go on here, other than what I have imported from Etsy. However, if you are curious, you can check out the over 10 years of reviews I accumulated on Etsy.  If for any reason, you are not satisfied with the print, please see my return policy below.

What is your shop processing time?
For Prints, Enamel Pins, and Tarot Decks: I will have orders ready to ship within 1-5 business days. Most of the time, I am able to fill orders more quickly, but if your order is placed while I am out of town for a show, it will be shipped as soon as I return. I ship on Tuesdays and Thursdays, but will occasionally ship more frequently, especially around the holidays.

For Shirts, Mugs, or Other Such Goods: These orders are fulfilled through a third-party company called Printful. Their processing time varies, but items usually ship within a week.

In either instance, please allow time for the postal service to deliver your item. The above times do not include transit. USPS generally delivers domestic orders in 2-5 days and will always include tracking. International orders, please allow 2-4 weeks for delivery. Tracking may not be available to all countries.

Why is shipping so expensive?
My shipping rates reflect the current USPS package shipping rates, which include tracking, plus a little to cover the cost of packaging and labels to ensure your prints and other items arrive safely. International shipping costs have skyrocketed recently. I do my best to fairly and accurately account for shipping costs, but unfortunately sometimes that means they seem higher than large retailers, due to the fact that as a small business, I can't negotiate bulk rates for shipping.

Free Shipping:
Free first class domestic shipping on orders over $60 includes all paper products (prints, tarot decks, etc), metal bookmarks, and enamel pins.

Free shipping is not available on apparel, mugs, and blankets. These products are fulfilled by Printful to allow me the ability to offer these products.

Return and Refund Policy:
Returns and refunds are accepted if the request is made within 14 days of delivery of the product. All products must be returned at the buyer’s expense and must be in original condition to receive a refund.

If a product arrives damaged, please contact me with photos of the damage and I will happily supply a replacement.

In the event of non-delivery, please contact me with your order number and tracking, if applicable. In the US, for standard shipping, please allow up to 2 weeks for a missing package; international, please allow up to 1 month. Weather, customs, or other circumstances may sometimes delay a package.

All other questions:
If you have a question, comment, or concern that is not addressed here, please contact me and I’ll be happy to address it!

ENAMEL PINS FAQ:
What are enamel pins?
Most people are familiar, but for those who are not, enamel pins are small pieces of handmade metal and enamel art. There are various types, including soft enamel and hard enamel, but with few exceptions, everything I have made is hard enamel for better longevity and wear.

Why did you italicize "handmade" above?
This is a part that I think a lot of people don't realize. Each step of the manufacturing process of enamel pins is done by hand, from stamping or casting the molds, to hand mixing the appropriate colors, to finishing and polishing. As a result of this process, flaws are not uncommon. To ensure you get a quality product, artists like myself will inspect pins to determine if there are many, if any flaws, and pull out those that don't pass inspection.

How do you grade your pins?
There are a few different ideologies on how to grade a pin. My choice of inspection is to hold a pin at arm's length and stare at it for five seconds, turning it in the light. If I don't notice anything significant, I grade it as a "Standard" pin. Now, this doesn't mean that every pin graded as "Standard" is entirely flawless, as again, these are handmade. What this does mean is there might be some very minor issues, that are not particularly noticeable and do not detract from the piece of art as a whole. These minor flaws might include light scratching in the metal (as a result of the polishing process), small flecks or bumps in the enamel in unobtrusive places (not on faces or any place of significant importance to the design), or other tiny issues that would otherwise not be noticed without extreme scrutiny.

Will you make my favorite piece of your art as a pin?
Maybe. The biggest difficulty right now is scaling down very large, elaborate designs to 2.25" pieces of metal. There are restrictions as to small an area can be to be filled with enamel, or how small lines can be to still be viable in the metal.

That said, I am working on converting all of the Tabletop Nouveau series to pins, as well as looking into some of the Tabletop Tarot cards down the road. These take time and are costly up front, so I may look into crowd funding some of the pins in the future. You can sign up for my mailing list or follow me on Instagram, Facebook, or Twitter, to find out if and when that all happens!

But what about....?
